The primary goal of the Hifz program is to instill a deep love and reverence for the Qur’an. The aim is for the student to cherish the process of memorizing, reciting, learning, reflecting upon, applying, and sharing the Qur’an’s message, integrating it as a guide for everyday life and spiritual achievement.
A person who memorizes and adheres to the teachings of the entire Qur’an is promised numerous rewards. According to Fatwa 85360, the Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “Whoever reads the Qur’an, memorizes it, and acts upon it, will be adorned by angels with a crown on the Day of Judgment, the light of which will surpass the sunlight. His parents will be dressed in garments more precious than the entire universe.” [Al-Haakim] There are many benefits and rewards that only Allah knows.
